Vision

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences aims to give educational services in various forms, for example; academic work, research, maintaining art and cultural, and local art and cultural conservation. In addition, the faculty emphasizes the importance of combining folk wisdom with international sciences to create intellect, which can benefit the whole community for sustainable development.

 

Missions

In order to achieve the aforementioned vision, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences needs cooperation from its personnel and related people to achieve the following results:

1. Become a learning organization with systematic management, teamwork, and unity.

2. Develop education for people so they can have knowledge and morals in various choices, can access education that matches local needs and real community situations, and can supply the need in developing the country, the local areas and the communities so they can have a sustainable development ability.

3. Study, research, develop, and combine Thai folk wisdom with international wisdom to strengthen the community.

4. Create and support a learning network between the faculty and the people in the local area.

5. Arrange learning to service the community, the academic work in a democratic framework with cooperation and sustainable development.

6. Study, analyse, distribute, and maintain valuable local culture and Thai culture for students and people via the process of research, learning, and public relations.

7. Produce and develop graduates who have knowledge, ability, responsibility, and morals so they can develop local areas and the country.

 

Goals

1. Set a systematic, practical vision of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences for the public.

2. Plan quality projects and works according to the mission.

3. Process the educational quality assurance.

4. Establish a fund for teachers, officials, employees, and students to cover their welfare and life quality development, including research funds and cooperation funds according to the mission of the university.
